Dear visitors,
Throughout Conor Grennan’s book, Little Princes, Conor goes way out of his comfort zone by helping an orphanage for three months in the war-ridden town of Nepal. He learns greatly from this experience and completely develops as a human being. As a student who has read, analyzed, and been inspired by his story, I aspire to engage in the same actions as Conor. However, since I am a student taking classes during the year, I’m unable to leave my country at the moment.
But I won’t let that stop me from extracting the most important message of Little Princes.
I will leave my own comfort zone by: (1) doing something at school I have never done before, (2) making a travel guide, (3) doing something that will help children, (4) making a how-to video, and (5) suggesting a dating spot that showcases values (good joke there). I hope you and the readers can take the time to enjoy my very own “Little Prince” journey! Welcome aboard!
“I want to see and understand the world outside. I don’t want to die inside these walls without knowing what’s out there!“
– Eren Yeager, Attack on Titan
Throughout my blog, you will find that it is filled with modern video game and comic references. I wanted to find a way to incorporate my interests into the design of my adventure (and to make the site appear more vibrant)!
Best,
